With cargo rickshaws on three wheels, we offer an efficient and environmentally friendly way of transporting goods to city-centre locations. We also deliver to car-free zones and offer attractive advertising panels on our modular interchangeable boxes.
The two biggest challenges are uniform standards for all logistics service providers and the facilitation of city hubs in Switzerland’s major cities.
Rikscha Taxi Schweiz develops and produces its own vehicles, which are used for transporting goods. A sorting machine and software which offers an interface to the customer’s software have also been developed. Plans are currently being made to extend the scheme to additional locations in Switzerland.

Rikscha Taxi Schweiz was founded ten years ago with the aim of revolutionising city logistics right across Switzerland. With cargo rickshaws on three wheels, we offer an efficient and environmentally friendly way of transporting goods to city-centre locations. Our cargo boxes feature our customers’ advertising and our couriers wear the appropriate work clothing, thus acting as brand ambassadors for our customers. We already operate three city hubs in Bern, Zurich and Basel. The goods are delivered by lorry or train and our vehicles are then used to deliver them to the city-centre addresses. There are plans for three new sites in Lucerne, St. Gallen and Winterthur in 2019.
